Looking up!

If you couldn't tell from my last post, I've been struggling with stuff!
This past week was a rough one for me, but things are looking up.
I took a breather for my birthday on Wednesday, (and then another breather this weekend).
I'm the big 33. I have to admit, I love my thirties. I'm so much more comfortable in my own skin than I ever was in my 20's. My twenties were full of figuring things out, getting married, having babies. I think that covers a lot!
I'm still figuring things out in my 30's, but on my own terms rather than by peer pressure or looking outwards. All the good stuff can be figured out by looking within. (So deep, I know!)

This coming up week is another bit of craziness altogether.
My husbands time on leave is coming to a close, and Friday he will be headed back to Parris Island to make some Marines.

In between him making sure all his uniforms and gear are in order, I'll be making sure the kids get in some good time with daddy and maybe we can slip one last date night in! And of course I have all you lovelies to keep me busy with sewing.
You guys are such a great distraction for me. I <3 you for it. I'm not sure I'd survive if I didn't have some distraction to help me get through the rough spots!

See you soon!
