If there is anything we know about doing art or crafts it is that having the right tools can be a sanity savior! There is nothing worse than getting half way through a project and realizing you don’t have what you need, or that what you have is not going to work for what you are trying to do.

I’ve always been a big fan of X-Acto knives and scissors. But I hit the jackpot when I scored from BzzAgent a couple of pairs of scissors and a corner cutter. I’d been craving a corner cutter for ages! Do you know how hard it is to cut those corners just right? I know you know what I’m talking about! So I was super excited to pop open that package and start putting that little guy to work. I was frustrated and disappointed at first because I couldn’t get it work right. It would get half way through the paper and then it wouldn’t cut the rest of the way. Out of frustration I squeezed as hard as I could to see if I could get it to cooperate and what do you know… it worked! It just takes a little elbow grease. I’m not sure I’d want to cut corners for, say, 30 valentines for school. But for small projects it worked well.

They also sent me a glue pen, which I’ve always loved. It has a wide end and a pen-like end. It’s good for those little projects and for doing around the edges of papers or cards. But what I hadn’t seen before was the tape runner that has double sided take in a container much like the white out you can get on the stationary isle. I’m thinking it would also work really well for items like pictures and paper or cardstock frames. You have to be careful that it doesn’t roll or get tangled in the roller

What I’m not sure I like are the glue dots. I’m just wondering why you couldn’t use a bottle of glue. But I suppose in the case of being a scrapper, and carrying your supplies with you to events or friends homes, it would be more compact and lighter weight to have a box of glue dots instead. I’m not much of a scrap book fanatic, but I can see how it might be more convenient.

Overall I think that all the items they sent are great. I'm not sure I'll purchase the glue dots in the future, but for someone else they might be a great idea. Loving the corner cutter now that I know how to use it, and the other items are convenient to have!
